Of course Trump will raise money for the general election. Some donors are certainly already lined up. Though Trump won't need as much to get out his vote as Clinton will need.

Clinton will spend over a billion dollars between the convention and November, and will take loans if needed to do so. More than just advertising; she relies on expensive focus groups and polling, paid demonstrators, and a massive campaign staff who will not work for free no matter how dedicated they are to her election.
The rented jet, buses, cars, and hotels are also very expensive. The numbers will lie on this a bit, as Trump can give himself in-kind donations of these items.
