You never know when I kid might want to play with a gun and shot somebody.

(CNN)The handgun was under a pillow in her grandmother's Detroit bedroom when the five-year-old girl came upon it, police said Wednesday.

The girl, who was with two younger children, was playing with the weapon when it discharged about midnight, according to police. She was fatally wounded, the latest in a spate of shootings by children across the nation.
Her grandmother, who was cooking downstairs at the time of the shooting, was later questioned by police and released, said Detroit Police Officer Jennifer Moreno. The investigation into the tragedy continues and no charges have been filed.

yea but if someone ever breaks in that house they will be sorry! RIP, hope the family gets broken into so they can reckon its good to have a loaded weapon in the house.

Lots of little kids are just stupid. They get themselves run over, drowned and shot.

Where I grew up, people had guns, there were roads with speeding cars, and loads of rivers, lakes and pools.



Everybody I knew survived adolescence.

When you have people stupid enough to put their kids in harms way, by leaving guns around for example, those children, often inheriting the stupid genes, die tragically.

But it stops the stupid genetics, anyway.
