Is it possible to "reducate" backwards conservatives?

The "conservatives" of America are destroying the fabric of not just America, but the whole world. They are fear mongering war hawking, profiteering and birdbrained, and their ways are not conducive to a functional society. Is it possible to "curb the dog" so to speak with them? Can they be retrained? I'm not sure, but I am curious to find out. We should set up re-education camps, so they can change their wicked ways. They need to embrace concepts of globalzation, gun restrictions, universal healthcare, and education for all, better eating and living habits, and so on and so forth. If they can't do this, their kind should be exterminated.
