Need the gun manufacturers to make a trigger mechanism that can read the user/shooters unique fingerprint signature when firing. Perhaps a larger flatter trigger firing device with a built in relay. Should not be that difficult. This would not apply to military nor Law Enforcement agencies, merely for civilians and all civilians, even Law Enforcement officer other than in service weapons.

The number of accidental shootings this would prevent would be small. Most of the recent well publicized attacks would not have been affected by this change. The shooters legally owned the weapons involved and would have been registered users. What is this measure intended to do?
