Boycott Total Wine stores
Posted by: Concerned one ()

I will never, ever spend a dime in a Total Wine store. The founder and co-owner David Trone is running for US Congress and supports gun control. I will never pay for his unconstitutional actions.

He is free to have his wack ideas and run for office on them. I'm free to spend my money where I want.

If you stand behind the 2nd Amendment please boycott Total Wine in all states.

It's got an amazing selection of craft beers more so than any other craft beer store in the area and the employees are always nice as hell whenever I go in there, I'm not boycotting shit faggot, tough luck.

Lesser of three evils.

Jamie Raskin is dyed in the wool socialist, a Bernie Sanders wannabe and total POS.

Kathleen Matthews is the equally loudmouthed wife of Chris "Tingles" Matthews. All roads lead to abortion and "the war on women" with her. She was in charge of "diversity programs" at Marriott. Need I say more?

Total Wine is great. If you creeps want to boycott it, I'll just buy twice as much beer.

Besides, the district he's running for is gerrymandered out the ass; the Dems could nominate RG3 and he'd still win in a cakewalk. If anything, Trone is the least left-wing option available.

My favorite play is go to Total Wine, get the information on their promoted expensive bottle, then walk next door to Trader Joes and but the same wine with a different label for about a quarter of the price.

No worries, OP...I'm pretty sure my weekly expenditures there more than make up for every small-puckered gun nut within 500 miles of the DC area...

Aint libs hypocritical or what. When its their axe to grind the first word out of their mouth is boycott (think NC now). Now when the boycott goes against their desires, they name call, post adds, say they'll spend money to support it, blah, blah, blah.
Keep it up MediaMatters, we know your play.

I do not support efforts to boycott any business - left or right wing - simply because of the political leanings of their owners. If you are so caught up in politics that you won't eat at Chic-Fil-A or buy wine from Total Wine because of perceived political leanings of the owners you have a serious problem. Live and let live.

I’m very selective about which businesses I choose to boycott, because I take it very seriously. After Hugo Chavez went on his anti-Bush rant at the UN, I shredded my Citgo card and called 7-Eleven headquarters to advise them that, as long as they sold Citgo gas, I would not buy gas or anything else from their stores. For three years I didn’t buy so much as a pack of gum from them, but eventually 7-Eleven was rid of the Citgo brand and I was back to sipping Slurpees.

I probably wouldn’t boycott Total Wine based solely on Trone’s position on the second amendment. If I avoided every business with political opinions I disagree with, I’d have fewer shopping choices than the Amish. BUT BECAUSE HE CHOSE TO USE HIS BUSINESS AS A BACKDROP FOR A CAMPAIGN AD IN WHICH HE SPOKE ABOUT HIS ANTI-GUN AGENDA, I immediately considered myself uninvited to patronize his business, and will therefore never, EVER walk into a Total Wine Store again.

Too bad, I really enjoyed shopping there. But they don’t sell a single thing I can’t live without.

Merchants of Death, what then is a store that specializes in the sale of alcohol, that ruins more lives and kills far more people then any ones AR15 hypocrite l iberals.

Its all a wash, Trone will be toast again Tuesday after losing many more millions, even the libs don't want to hear his winey voice or his lousy political ads
