Canadian Loonie craters to 68 U.S. cents
Posted by: Gerrymanderer2 ()

The Canucks currency is dropping like a rock against the mighty dollar. Their tar sands junk is useless. There's nothing to pump through Keystone. Thank God we weren't dumb enough to build that monstrosity.

The loonie was worth more than the dollar now it's going to be worth half of it, where it belongs.

Anybody thinking of taking a dirt cheap vacation to Canada? Or going shopping in Toronto? Thank Obama.

Honestly their currency is so weak now you could probably find business opportunities. Get some cheap inventory have it shipped and sell it stateside.

All of these gas stations impersonating countries are falling around the only real economy in the world, the mighty United States.

Killing oil should be our number one national security objective.

Maybe when you grow up you will be able to think instead of just repeating lib talking points.

Do you really believe the private money would be so eager to build Keystone if there was no profit motive?

Obama is delaying the pipeline for political reasons only. It will happen once he is gone.

We'll see how eager they remain. You would let them build it right now and start pumping what little tar shit they have in stock over our precious underground lakes?

Did you get that slurpee machine working again at south riding? I hope so. You're the best slurpee machine man and my white American kids need slurpees after playing competitive sports. I know, you hate anything competitive, you're not an American.

What is it like to be so alone?

Lol, the same thing people who were talking about drilling in ANWR were saying. Then BP got grants to do so, then they said it wasn't profitable to do it given oil futures.

You are fuckin retarded if you think the tar sands companies and big oil would build Keystone given current prices. Would they pursue the permits and attempt to create a delay clause that would allow them to renew the permit without federal approval indefinitely? Yes, absolutely, but they have no plans to build that in the next 10 years unless oil were to jump to $100 per barrel again. Tarsands are economically unsustainable at $35 a barrel. At a minimum you need atleast $60 oil to make it worth while, let alone a higher value in order to remobilize all the equipment and personnel.

Get over it, all that job growth in conservatard territory is over. Goodbye North Dakota, you can go back to being the shit hole everyone thought you were. Goodbye economy of Texas, no one wants to live in your shit crazy state if you aren't hiring.

Go read something for once you retarded GOP trolls from manasshole.

So sorry, wrong foreign oil company, it was Dutch Shell who was given free reign to rape our sovereign soil and steal our national commodities, atleast until they said it was worthless to do so.

Womp womp. What action that occurs in American business doesn't have an affect on Warren Buffett you tard? By that same logic republicans who own freight companies also made a shit ton of money, was Obama in their pocket too?

No one to date has given any reason to build keystone. They lied when they said it would make gas cheaper, global economics affect oil and gas prices, not actual delivery cost. They lied when they said it would employ thousands. The only thousands employed would be short term construction contractors, mostly brought in from canada. They lied when they said it was critical for national security and oil resources, the us is less dependant on foreign oil than any other era in modern history.

So shut the fuck up already. The company who originally asked for wanted the decision delayed because they don't even fuckin want to build it anymore. Look it up. The only people still talking about it are the lobbyists who need to show that they are worth spending a billion dollars on, guess they failed and so did you.
