almost all WalMart closures are in Red States

Is it because red states have terrible economies?
Is it primarily because of lost oil revenue in OK,TX, and LA, which have the majority of closures? If so, will this reverse when oil picks up again?
Is it just because red states have more Walmarts in the first place? If so, why?

Discuss (intelligently, please).

Of the 154 that closed in the U.S., 102 were Wal-Mart Express (testing the "large convenience store" market) and 23 were Neighborhood Markets. Only 12 Supercenters closed. Out of 5,000 total U.S. stores, this was simply a 3% trimming of the fat. Economy is healthy, carry on.

what your not understanding is most areas in USA infact the world are debt driven economies with most "winners" picked by rich political families

when a "home depot" or "sams" or "costco" opens in an area it means there is enough loaning in the area

it means that people in the area will be getting lotsa retail stuff but in the end: hardly paying for it

DC is an area of CLOSURE. what your not understanding is they've been opening "cash only" costco where gov workers are SHOPPING LIKE CRAZY

so. closure in a republican area would mean either

* they shop on amazon too lazy to drive, using gov money

* they are now being cut off completely from most goods, because
the goods are all being consumed in democrat areas: including
trasnfered over-seas

what your also not realizing about "port towns" like baltimore is they'll steal goods off trains (major depot in DC) to ship and sell in another country

another factor is some countries roll their debt by taking imports and re-exporting them, hiding the fact they made no products on the sheets and from "normal statistics"

where did the goods go? stolen dumb ass.

Remember? The gov is setting up secret bases in and under WalMart. Obama's getting ready to declare martial law.

They need more such bases in the red states, whose denizens are much more likely to launch some futile crusade to stop Obama's takeover. Looks like Barack/Hillary/Trump/Jeb anticipate particular trouble from Texas.
