Jesus was most likely born on the 1st day of the Feast of Tabernacles or "Succot"
Christmas (or Christ Mass) came about when the Romans made a pagan holiday into "the birth of Christ".
The weeping of Tammuz, the 25th day of the 10th month ... ever notice that Dec. means 10th, Nov. means, Ninth, etc.
We call it the 12th month according to the Gregorian calendar -- but the prefix means 10 ..
Look up Tammuz, Semiramos and Nimrod ... Christmas was founded on a Pagan Holiday ... but there is always a nice feeling in the air ..
Ever wonder why we celebrate Halloween?
All Saints Day (another Roman Catholic invention) is celebration the next day.
During harvest season, the Celts used to tie up a prisoner or a cow to a stake and burn it alive and dance around it, hoping it would scare away evil spirits so that their harvest would be pentiful.
Then came Halloween which started in Europe.
The Pagan Holidays we celebrate! Last spring I saw a large Rabbit lay eggs in my front yard -- They came out in various colors.
Ishtar -- the spring fertility Goddess was at work -- Easter is an anglicized version of the name Ishter.
The Roman Empire was great at taking "Holidays" of the nations they conquered and Christianizing them, using different names -- that way the peoples they conquered would still have their Holiday, but it would be called something else -- this worked in the Empire's favor -- It deterred rebellions.
