For Us Rich Folk 1/2 cup corn meal a bit of flour 1/4 cup some baking powder 1/2 teaspoon and hot water. Cook on a hot oiled griddle they take more time then regular Hot Cakes. Eat with fake butter and Log Cabin Syrup.

Corn Hot cakes the same but no hot water,use milk.

I dig looking at these old Time Life Cook Books like "American Cooking : The Great West" published back about 1971 When Police Inspector "Dirty Harry Calahan was on the San Francisco Police Force.

Seeing the pic of the old Italian place in North Beach San Francisco called "La Pantera" "The Panther" , a place where people sat down at long tables with anyone who happened to come on by. Eesh, Hippies, Commies, Libs , Gays, and hard working straight folk . All were welcome to eat Mama Rena Nicolia's Italian Specialties.. so I copied the dish of ravioli and it was Great! Everyone here at Hobo Junction gave a Thumbs Up!

Food Lion Spinach and Cheese Ravioli, Ragu Meat sauce fixed up with a pound of ground beef some vodka, cream, grated parmesan cheese, green pepper strips and a bit of extra olive oil. Cook it up sauce it up slap it in the 350 oven 5 minutes and put a bit of cheese on it.. Ya Baby!
