Having lived in Germany for quite some time immersed into the culture I can tell that you've never lived there nor have any concept of the German culture. Germany is big on their "Weihnachtsmarkt," which is their Christmas market found all throughout German cities and small towns. In high school Christian religion classes are incorporated into schools and all religions even if they aren't Christmas enjoy the festivities and the celebration. I find it very upsetting that this will cease to exist as the Germans don't want to offend the Muslims. I can't blame them. Their culture is centered around killing as a source of revenge and massive attacks. Instead of reaching a consensus or talking it over they would much rather kill you. No one gets butt hurt in Germany like they do here over religion and Christmas unless you are a free loading Syrian refugee
