Typical liberal bullying, name calling and twisting the truth. Or totally omitting it. He was impersonating a general public when he said that. Taking words out of context is as good as lying. And liberals are the worst of all bullies with their political correctness name calling. Obviously too many people that got the trophy in soccer in the "everybody wins" generation.

Since Carson is an idiot, can one of you enlighten as to what gives rise to gravity? Is the curvature of space time or an exchange of force carriers?

According to Hebrews 1:3, Christ upholds all things by the word of His power. Uphold describes the sustaining or maintaining of all things, including gravity. The word uphold in this verse means much more than simply supporting a weight. It includes control of all the ongoing motions and changes within the universe. This infinite task is managed by the Lord’s almighty Word, whereby the universe itself was first called into being. It is one of the manifestations of His awesome divine upholding.

In fairness, scientists don't quite understand why gravity isn't stronger. It's been a major stumbling block in the "theory of everything" and part of the driving force behind other theories that explore multiple dimensions.

That said, it's kind of disturbing how a man of science like Carson explains things we don't have all the answers for as "Jesus did it." Yes, there are questions about the evolutionary timeline, but that's due to insufficient evidence to explain everything, not God jumping in with heavenly magic.

So basically you're saying that while you have no proof that Carson is wrong nor proof that "science" is right, everyone should believe an anonymous poster on the internet as to what is the truth?

It's funny how these cuckoo religious tards complain about stuff like insufficient scientific evidence, when theres absolutely no evidence whatsoever that the god of abraham exists. Literally zero. All the hard work and brain power that's led to amazing discoveries over the past 2,000 years has produced a total amount of zero proof. Not even a single shred that's worth the time investigating.

Their whole thought process is fucking retarded.

As a rational being, I choose to believe in the results of scientific research and experimentation to explain how things work. Those aspects which are currently a scientific mystery I am confident will be explained in time, as methodologies and technologies advance. I reject the irrational belief that the Flying Spaghetti Monster, or any other imaginary creature, designed or created...everything, and orchestrates it all on a daily basis.

I have nothing against God or people who have faith. I do have a problem with people who try to replace science with their faith. True Christians believe that God is self-evident without need for proof. If you truly have faith, you shouldn't be threatened by science like some medeival pope.

Ok. Listen. You're entitled to your opinion. But it's called FAITH for a reason. Because you are believing in something bigger than yourself that you cannot necessarily SEE with your physical eyes.

There is nothing wrong with science, but bear this little fact in mind.
Science is ever changing because it was created by the humans in an effort to explain God's magic.

Was there a big bang when the universe was created? Maybe. I wasn't there. But the natural world is ALL God's handiwork, period.

Mankind has discovered how to detect extremely minute quantities of energy outside of the visible spectrum- energy emitted from billions of light years away, billions of years ago. Low energy photons that have been traveling toward us literally since the universe was first formed. We can detect that and understand it.

But the all-powerful, ever-present god of abraham who knows everyone and supposedly interacts with humans every day; hasn't been seen or heard from in a few thousand years when some anonymous sheep herders in the middle east wrote third-hand stories about him in scrolls.

Science does not change. The scientific method has been pretty constant for quite some time. Our understanding may change based on new discoveries.

What has changed are the things that are the result of God's "magic." The Earth isn't flat and it's not the center of the universe. Science proved that. People were killed or imprisoned by "Jesus loving Christians" for claiming otherwise. Time and time again it's been proven that God's magic doesn't stand up under valid scrutiny.

Still undecided I am, overall. NONE of the candidates have my full support yet. But I think I definitely trust the neurosurgeon over hilliary!! Hilliary thinks she's entitled to occupy the white house. Same with Boosh 3. Carson seems sincere, and that counts for something, even if every word isn't agreeable to all.

Here are possible cabinet positions a president fills.

The Cabinet includes the Vice President and the heads of 15 executive departments — the Secretaries of Agriculture, Commerce, Defense, Education, Energy, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, Interior, Labor, State, Transportation, Treasury, and Veterans Affairs, as well as the Attorney General.

I would put Carson in charge of Health and Human Services.

Libs are blind the possibility, that there is a greater truth than what exists between their ears.= spritual blindess -- because:

John 1:
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it (comprehended it not).
6 There was a man sent from God whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. 8 He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.
9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 3:
19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world,
==
but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.
==
21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

You can quote the Bible all you want. The facts are:

- The Earth is billions of years old, not thousands
- The Earth never flooded
- Evolution did happen, and there's ample proof that it did
- Outside of the Bible, there is no record of Jesus or Yeshua in contemporaneous historical accounts of Judea
- There is no evidence that slaves, much less Jewish ones, worked on pyramids or public works in Egypt
- The first written accounts of Jesus appear 300 years after his supposed death
- Jesus never said anything about baptizing non-Jews
- Jesus never mentioned gays
- Jesus did say rich people aren't going to Heaven and that the meek shall inherit the Earth
- Gravity exists, scientists know why and anyone with an internet connection and five minutes can figure it out, much less someone running for President

So this moron says the Nazis took control by confiscating guns (they actually deregulated gun ownership for the most part). The idiot also says the Jews should have fought back (apparently he knows as much about the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising as he does gravity). His ignorance is offensive. I believe the nazis siezed not only guns, but all weapons. And many Jewish owned businesses, too. Those poor Jews didn't have a chance. The ones who escaped and survived were lucky. It was a tragedy. And we must watch carefully, lest we forget the lessons of history, and God forbid, such a tragedy like the holocaust be repeated. Who will be the new Jews next time? I would suggest you actually read up on the German gun laws of the 1930s. The Nazis removed restrictions on gun ownership for most Germans. It was illegal for Jews to own guns. But do you really believe untrained Jewish families with firearms could have defeated the Nazis? Something that ultimately required 100 million trained soldiers and the military might of Russia, UK and USA to accomplish?

The whole "Nazi gun control" idea the right keeps talking about is erroneous and illogical. The third reich loosened the gun restrictions put in place after the first world war. It was easier for Germans to own guns after Hitler came to power.

So then the right says, well "look at what gun control did to the Jews. The Jews got extermiated because they couldn't own guns". Well Jews were also forced to live in ghettos- does that mean we should abolish urban planning? Heck, the nazis used urban planning to put Jews in ghettos, so let's abolish that. The nazis used police to oppress Jews- hey let's get rid of police too - just look at what police did to Jews in Nazi Germany!

The Jews weren't going to beat the Nazis but being unarmed meant they could be oppressed at will with little recourse.

While I am here, while you can't prove there is a God, you can't disprove it either. Get over it.

So you are saying that armed Jews would have deterred the Nazis? The same way armed Russians deterred the Nazis from invading the Soviet Union?

The fact is this is a sick form of revisionist history where Ben Carson is blaming the victims.

It took the combined armed forces of the US, England, and Russia to stop the Nazi's, but a couple of Jews with handguns coulda nipped that whole thing in the bud, had they not been subjected to gun control.

No, you are wrong. On November 11, 1938 (the day after Kristallnacht) the Regulations Against Jews' Possession of Weapons were promulgated by Minister of the Interior, Wilhelm Frick, effectively depriving all Jews living under the Third Reich of the right to possess any form of weapons including truncheons, knives, or firearms and ammunition.

Before that, some police forces used the pre-existing "trustworthiness" clause to disarm Jews on the basis that "the Jewish population 'cannot be regarded as trustworthy'".

jews: uh... no.

There is a huge difference between the German army of 1938 and German army of 1944. In 1938, everyone outside of Germany was OK with Germany doing whatever because of the German citizens didn't seemed to be complaining. Anyone who complained was quietly "marginalized" with their assets used to fuel the German republic.
