Buying a gun at a gun show requires a criminal background check. Now, I would be concerned if the shooter bought the gun private party (sometimes "at" a gun show) without a background check.

News reports say the shooter had three pistols and one long gun. At 20 years old, at least 3 of the firearms are illegally owned because one needs to be 21 to buy a pistol.
The campus has a no-gun policy. Two laws broken.
I am interested to see, as with past shootings, what specifik laws are kalled for that would have prevented this shooting.

This is wrong. The M16 and M4 are considered part of the AR-15 family. The M series are actually AR-15 clones.
The operation and design is also the same, it is just the civilian versions are semi-auto only.

Another case of an atheist or Muslim non-Republican killing Christians because of their religion, yet Republicans seem to be taking the blame for the existence of the Second Amendment again. Still no ideas out there that would have prevented this or any other massacre.
The "gun nuts" always say the Second Amendment is there to protect the rest of the Bill of Rights, it is now becoming clear Christians need more self-defense training and capabilities if they are being targeted for death in the United States.
