The shooter purchased his firearm legally from an FFL. He successfully passed a NICS background check. Not a single proposed law, short of repealing the 2nd Amendment, would have prevented this tragedy. The left, however, will certainly exploit this tragedy the best they can.

It's disgusting to see how opportunistic and ecstatic the left becomes when a high profile shooting occurs. Of course, when it comes time to sentence those convicted of gun crimes, they'll argue against mandatory minimums. Basically, they oppose law abiding gun owners while supporting gun criminals.
