I have been told I couldn't go into concert venues before with certain heavy metal chain jewelry on before. Had to leave it outside or in the car per the bouncer at entry's request. Didn't make a stink, just did as i was told because I wanted to see the show.If she knew that was in her bag, why not just avoid a potential problem and stash it outside someplace, since she said she's homeless so that's why she was carrying it in?? Kind of makes it look bad for those who really do get discriminated against. Almost can't believe the nerve of this girl to cry discrimination. OF COURSE it is going to look like a B oo Mb when going through an Xray!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, does nobody under 25 think ahead anymore?!?

I don't think it matters who the bag belongs to; if the security screener opens it up and sees something grenade-shaped, they're not going to take it out and inspect it to make sure it's not really a grenade.

If I cap a PVC tube at both ends and use it as a pencil case, courthouse security is prooooobably gonna freak out if they see it in my bag. Doubt they're going to pick it up and shake it to see what's inside.

They never opened the bag, dipshit (they only screened it), or are you too stupid to read and comprehend English?

It doesn't matter. If the security guard thinks there's a bomb in someone's bag, they don't stick their nose in it. They... Go outside and investigate with a robot. Like they did. If she was arrested purely for discriminatory reasons, they wouldn't have shut everything down like that.

That seems to be the focal point of this discussion, not the detection method used.

Yes, it does, idiot. You said they opened the bag, which they didn't.

Case closed...you're an idiot.

Can I file an appeal? Cuz seriously, that's not what this conversation is even about.

What do you think? Was she discriminated against?

I guess they're too much of a chickenshit to answer you seriously. Welcome back, Fisto.
