Honda's and Toyota's are some of the most American made cars. Honda civic and Acura TLX are the most American parts and American labor cars sold in America. If you want to be patriotic as shit you should buy one of those cars and put a American flag decal on it.

I am an American. Therefore, I display an American flag sticker on each of my Mercedes-Benz automobiles.

Even if the profits on the Toyotas/Hondas go to Japan, the labor income is still more helpful for the average American. Versus someones already inflated stock portfolio going up with the Chinese labor POS Ford.

Hard to believe that there are still some people out there who take JD Power seriously. But at least they are honest enough to tell you that is their opinion of initial quality.
The place where Toyota, Honda and a few others really shine is how they hold up in the long run. The long-term quality is what really counts and American cars with only a few exceptions do not have it.

That graph is hilarious. Ford and Lincoln sell the same products with some minor trim changes. Adding a leather interior creates fewer defects in Lincolns?

GMC and Chevrolet sell the same products except GMC markets the 'commercial' or 'industrial' market. The marketing of the products creates more defects? How does the metal know which brochure its in?

This is America, you have the freedom to buy the car you want, and to adorn it to your hearts content.

Are you sure? So many honda owner I've been around all talk about their transmissions failing early. And I had a Toyota once, and the engine failed. But the General Motors cars/trucks I've owned never had an engine failure

really there's nothing wrong with a little healthy import/export trade

but clearly many fx co gov and feds in DC area have a habbit of continually taking a shit on the USA flag at the register as a habbit habitually

infact some of them are involved in promoting asian car dealers opening and (ie, chevy dealers) closing in this area

go to other areas - the sales / dealership situations that have happened in fx co since democrat takeover in the mid 90's : didn't happen , hasn't happened

As an Automotive technician I recommend that everyone buy an American car. It is good for our economy and it is good for me! I own three Toyota's however.

American made automatic transmissions fail far more often than Japs (especially Ford & Chrysler). However, the bigger problem in the equation is stupid ass people who don't properly maintain or drive their vehicles.

I've had lots of GM cars that have lasted over 300,000 miles with very few problems, and I don't adhere to strictly to maintenance schedules, just change the oil once in a while

I got rid of a $47k Acura TL because it had so many problems. Was in and out of the shop so often, I bought a used car so I would have something to drive. Finally, the transmission went at 135k miles. I decided enough was enough and bought a new car. My wife's Chevy Malibu, the same age as the Acura, is still running fine without any serious problems.

Kia is made in usa. Don't give a shit where the profits go. Americans have the jobs. The cars never break. Buy a non-wrangler jeep and you will have it in the dealership more than you drive it.

Toyota is Americas car.

Because my 1989 R32 Skyline GT-R is pound for pound a better performing car than anything offered by an American manufacturer. And since I am a natural-born American citizen, I also enjoy celebrating my heritage.
