He never produced anything while with the AFA, and he never felt he should produce anything of value to the organization. He felt his vocal religious beliefs would act as a catalyst for him climbing the ladder of society, and getting to the top of that society. In his job at AFA, he blatantly ignored science (as his family taught him to do) in defending Hobby Lobby, and he expounded his evangelical beliefs as a moral barometer that should be used by everyone in this country. It is not the blind leading the blind, it is the stupid leading the misinformed.

These type of people, who use religion to justify their societal beliefs, usually end up with real issues. I liken Daddy Jim Bob to Warren Jeffs. They both used their religion to demean, castigate and cast aside anyone who didn’t believe what they believed. Both people felt no remorse in hurting others to move up a closed society’s ladder, and both set very odd non secular standards for their women and children to live by. Both also had an infatuation with sex and religion.
