Fairfax Underground T Shirts

I have a great idea. I wish we could buy Fairfax Underground T shirts. I would defiitely wear one. I just hope they could come in some cute colors for girls too. I hate black T shirts. They remind me of devil worshippers. Perhaps someone could design a logo for it. What does everybody think about my T shirt idea????

Cary does because he started this web site. I bet he would make a profit. And more people would post here too.

what do you have against devil worshippers? :P
i would only get one if it did come in black and just to head off any misconceptions i am not a devil worshipper.

Well black T shirts to me just seem so goth. Everytime you see some teenager shooting up people or getting in trouble, they are wearing black T shirts. I especially hate them on girls except if it's a cute T shirt without sleeves or cap sleeves. I have one from Chico's with long sleeves and I wear it with a flowered skirt. But it is a nylon fabric and does NOT look like a boy shirt! I am sorry, I dind't mean to imply that you were a devil worshipper but that is what they remind me of. Sorry.

Trickie

PS. I could never design a T shirt with this Fairfax Underground logo. I am not an artist or designer.

have you ever watched the show COPS? if you are getting in trouble, you are definately in blue jeans and a wifebeater. i dont know where you get your prejudices because if you have seen the county jail here, nobody is wearing black shirts... generally it's gray or white. in general, goth people are not trouble makers or shooting up with stuff like heroin. the color black has been given a bad name by various media. even in cartoons, dark colors (especially black) = evil, and light colors (especially white) = good. it's just not true.

And I can tell you goths have no interest in shooting anyone. Often when someone is wearing black and shoots up a place like Columbine the press says they are goths, but those two clearly were not. Goth is a lifestyle and has nothing to do with violence.

Wouldn't printing up shirt for "Fairfax Underground" make it "Fairfax Aboveground" or the "Fairfax Public Forum." Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... keep it a secret.

Hah. Not a horrible idea. Someone actually proposed it to me in an email a couple weeks ago. I wrote about it in another thread in off-topic but I'll paste what I said here:

Also, someone sent me an email with an interesting idea. T-Shirts.

The pitched T-Shirt design was the FU logo on the front and a list of the "famous" arrests on the arrest list on the back with something cheesy like "Fairfax County, nobody escapes"

I don't think I'm going to do anything like it, but it's a good idea to mull over.

I'm all for a design contest, with a free t-shirt for the winner or something. Plus knowing tons of people are walking around with your work on their backs is pretty cool. Anyone up for it? If there's interest I'll make an official thread for entries and finally install the "polling" module so people can vote.

Oh, and this is technically Off-Topic, so I'm moving it there.

I think some FFXU underwear is in order. Not with that London Underground logo either, more like the font used in the upper left hand corner.

This very good idea why Joe's Rag Shack gave me the opportunity to afford a can o' beer every weekend for several years.

Did your mom cut off your allowance, Chuck? Maybe you can steal the pennies out of your daughter's piggy bank!

making your own T-shirt is pretty easy. Just get a T-shirt iron on from Target or some craft store like Michaels. Download whatever image you want from the interwebs. Reverse the image. print image out on laser printer onto Iron on paper. Iron image onto T-shirt ala the far out Seventies. Viola! you have a T-shirt.
