A forgotten classic

As a fan of 80s movies, I am saddened when truly great movies are swept under the rug.

Karate Kid was released in 1984, and since then, my life perspective has been different, to say the least.

For those of you unfamiliar with Karate Kid, it is about a wayward youth finding his place in life when he meets a senior wise man.

At first tension, but as the two explore each others' goals, they enter a world of discipline, challenging physical activity, and emotional bonding. To say they are life partners is an understatement.

Truly a relationship that words cannot describe.

Rent or buy Karate Kid today!

If it hadn't been for Karate Kid, Ralph Macchio never would have had the acting chops necessary to pull off the role of the condemned man in the taut legal drama My Cousin Vinny.

He was in that movie? I only remember Marisa Tomei....LOL
She could be my paralegal any time.
