South Riding forgot to turn on headlights last night!

Chantilly
Pursuit: A deputy was on patrol when they observed a
driver traveling in the area without the vehicles
headlights on. The deputy initiated a traffic stop and
the driver maintained speed before accelerating. The
vehicle lost control temporarily in the area of the
Nations Street and struck a pedestrian signal pole. The
driver continued and nearly struck a vehicle in the
area of Monteith Terrace. The driver stopped in the
area of Nations Street and Loudoun County Parkway.
The driver was identified as a juvenile. Petitions are
pending for felony eluding, felony hit and run, driving
during curfew hours and driving without a licensed
passenger. The juvenile was turned over to the
custody of a parent.
