A few Northern Virigina police agencies have recieved calls about Michael Basl this evening from some worried folks.

Henrico Police have now been dispatched to see if Mr. Basl is at his residence.

I question if that's bs. I doubt they would let someone know that they're gonna pick him up. Though I really hope I'm wrong.
I wonder why, with all this supposed info that's been coming out, why they can't get a warrant for a search of the faggots computer. I had a search warrant for my house once, years ago, based on someones word that they saw stolen property in there. I don't know if I would have won if I fought it, I was guilty, and pled that. Getting caught was a blessing in disguise

There's a thing called an alibi and if something were to happen and Mr. Basl said he was home at the time and it's already been confirmed by police that he in fact was not, his alibi goes bye bye and accounting for his whereabouts comes into question.

Maybe the rest of us don't need to know the specifics. Eesh will read that and not use that alibi now. Some things are better kept secret. Though I understand wanting to tell, its not always good in the long run.

The point isn't getting him to lie at all. It was to see if he was home to connect him to tonight's stalking. It's already been confirmed he wasn't home so he doesn't have that as an alibi now.

Not being home doesn't prove the stalking. Lots of people weren't home tonight. Now, if this post never existed, eesh would have likely said 'I was home'. Then he would have been caught lying to a police officer. And, even if not charged for that, it would impeach his credibility in future court cases. This post shouldn't have existed. Not being home doesn't legally equal guilt.

Didn't say it equals guilt at all. It has now made police more interested in checking things out.

If Mr. Basl had been home then they would have left things alone.

You really aren't understanding what this post is about and going into something completely unrelated. I think you missed the entire point.

This was a one time only thing. It's not like the cops are going to get called every time he leaves his house.

There was a very good reason they were called. But you said silence is golden so I can't discuss this.

I guess I can try explaining without giving too much away.

The cops know he wasn't home tonight. The cops had a call about a suspicious person being in the area and someone had something damaged.

Now the police are going to look at the tapes of the two public places where the photos were taken at to see if Mr. Basl was there.

Him lying to a cop if he wasn't home wouldn't be possible since he wasn't home. He has no alibi if it turns out he is the one on tape.

If you're going to stalk an area don't commit crimes and then be placed at a place that has you on tape in that area.
