Need to find a metronome tomorrow

I need to find one of the old school metronomes tomorrow (long story, boring). Anywhere near Falls Church, Annandale - are their places that sell them in this area?
Yeah, I know, it's weird. We have the electronic app but for some reason the old school kind seems to work better. This is a medical need, not a musical need.

There's a music store down in Springfield in that same strip as David's Bridal and Hard Times. Music and Arts I think.

Yes! We did and it worked for like a day. We thought "problem solved!" When we packed up the old metronome child reverted. Turns out old school is the solution, and the electronic version was just a temporary crutch. :(

Thank you. It is relaxing - the rhythm helps out when she is figuring out the mean, median, range, mode, etc.
All of the docs agree that she will outgrow it - eventually. Our goal is to keep everybody stable and sane until she does. She is a bright and happy kid, and that's what matters.

Try a cuckoo clock with a long pendulum, three counterweights and an intricate quarter/half/hourly mechanism.
You get the visual/audible passing of time with a positive reward/feedback each hour. It will be a memento of this time in your life as well as a fun timepiece.
She may also like music boxes and other wind up stuff.

If you do get a cuckoo clock just make sure she is taught every aspect of how it works, show her the mechanisms inside, and let her be in charge of its daily care and maintenance. Go for an 8 day clock.
