How did you earn your USAA auto insurance? I earned mine in Berlin in 1945. I shot a guy who I thought was Hitler, but turned out it wasn't.

OK I have an ethical question, and not Trolling, My Father served in Korea, we have his dd214 should I try to see if I can get better rates with usaa, or try to get an account with Navy Federal? He wasn't much on his Military service. Should I try to utilize the benefits that he earned. He Has been deceased for 21 years. Just Curious.

Who is your current insurer? You should probably checkout usaa, they usually have the best rates for insurance. For banking they are not that great.

It is my understanding that the person who served must currently have USAA insurance or had USAA insurance in the past for the children to qualify. I'd love to get insurance with USAA but my dad (who served in Korea too) has had insurance with someone else since the 1960s and won't change.

GEICO is a lot more forgiving than USAA when it comes to violations and accidents. What USAA is good for is auto loans when it comes time to PCS overseas. Many banks and other lenders will not let you take a car overseas if you are still paying it off.
