A officer from Ft Belvior and two older guys from the VFW knocked on the door that night and gave us the news. The VFW guys stayed in their car and told my Mom that they would keep two men at the house in shifts for as long as we wanted them to and would drive us anywhere we wanted to go and buy us anything we needed. We had a retired navy Captain next door and he let the VFW guys use his phone and bathroom or whatever they needed. I don't think anything like that is done for our fallen service members families any more.
The memory of that night in 1972 haunts me at this time of year.

I was 15 1/2 and had just got my learners permit.

My father hinted that he was going to get me a car.

I wanted a new 1994 Corvette, black.

Christmas morning, I was dismayed to look out and see an '92. Silver.

I told him I could not drive that thing, it was shit and all my friends would laugh at me.

I have not spoken to that bastard since.

my worst was having to work on christmas. it was high pressure phone sales job trying my to get people to buy bulk diet supplements as part of a multi-level marketing plan where you also recruit people under you to invest in special vitamins, echinacea, etc. and of course almost everyone I called was pissed that their holiday was being interrupted by a telemarketer, especially when I was calling them at 3 or 4 in the morning. people were furious and it wasn't a good day at all for me.

The one when daddy dressed up like Goofy and played with my poop hole and put his pee pee in it. That hurt!

I used to work for Washington gas in the 90s. One year I had to work Christmas day and there was a gas leak and explosion in McLean somewhere. We had to work all night in the freezing rain to restore gas to those hateful pieces of human garbage who live there. The only thing good about it was that only some adults got burned, no kids.

My worst xmas, I got arrested in early December over the internetz and had to go to court in January. The whole time during xmas I was thinking about my actions, and the consequences.

Years ago I was on a 5 hour trip to my parents house on Christmas eve evening. Well the car broke down on the interstate and everything was closed so the car could not be looked at. If you have to screw around on your wife, you have to plan ahead. You're going to get caught. It always happens. Half the time, it's by accident. Something you have no control over happens and BUSTED!

This Christmas was the worst. I waited all day for General Mahdi to come out and plow me, and he never showed up.

Christmas of 84 I was ten years old. Someone gave me a GI Joe action figure setup, a really cool one with a Jeep that had a big machine gun mounted on it and a bunch of plastic weapons. My Dad who was drunk called me a faggot because I was playing with dolls. He threw all my new toys in the fire, beat the shit out of me and locked me in my room for a couple days.

This Christmas.

The worst Christmas I ever had was when our kids took us on a trip to Saint Anton in the Austrian alps and Meade's livestream was choppy in the chalet we stayed in.

At least you got to see it even if it was choppy. A Christmas without Meade would be horrific. Meade brings joy.

I spent one Christmas in the Prince William ADC. Got a year with 11 months suspended. Did not see the light of day the entire month. That was bad.

Forget the exact year, but I had a nightmare of a newly elected American president who allowed a foreign country to detonate a germ bomb, killing hundreds of thousands of Americans and tanking our economy so bad that we elected an evil vegetable to replace him. Worse thing about my Christmas nightmare was that the newly elected president did nothing to punish the foreign germ bombing country, he just whined about how unfair it all was to him, personally.

Anxiety sucks. I'm sure glad none of that happened for real.

A couple years back I ordered a large Ledo pizza with extra cheese and bannana peppers on Christmas eve. They gave me green peppers. Worst Christmas ever

Found a finger nail-tip in my pasta dish at Carlyle restaurant in Arlington after already consuming half of the plate! Staff replaced the dish and didn't charge our 6 person table. Anyhoo, left a generous gratuity to waiter/server as it wasn't there fault. Never went back and never will. Still, freaked out by the gross experience.

That is so gross! Will never go there. OMG.

One Christmas i found out we were jews and one of my ancestors killed the baby Jesus. That sucked ass.

The Carlyle used to be nice. Now its a never ending Chimpfest with niggers stankin the place up, it smells like ass and there are flung condoms hanging from the ceiling fans.

The Christmas of 2011 was the worst Christmas i ever had. We were poor- Shit, we were niggers! Anyways, all i wanted was a white girl. What i got instead was a near constant semi erection, the onliest toy i ever had.
