That's the "high gear" economy G2 keeps babbling about.

You mad, bro?

There are 2 parts to this story. Yes, the economy is still shaky. But online sales are growing. That is why in-store sales are down sharply. We will see what the numbers are from today's online purchases. The expectation is that there will be a significant growth from last year.

The real story is on the ground. Not on the internet and not in Black Friday stats.

Go to any community surrounding NOVA and you will see dozens of vacant or for lease commercial properties. That is not a good sign for commerce. Some of these properties have been empty and for rent for YEARS! There is one particular property in Warrenton Va that was built new as a Borders book store that has been empty for 2 years now. The book store was only there for about a year. Many many other examples to numerous to list.

Warrenton and other failing cities that surround NOVA, are all run by Repub-tardz. No surprise.

Every year for about, oh the last 20 years or so, the story is the same: Black Friday sales down. Retailers hurting despite deep discounts. And come the end of January the story will still be "one of the worst holiday seasons in recent memory". It's all bullshit. Because mathmatically if you decrease every year, eventually you have to get into the lower percent range. Meaning its not worth it for any retailer to sell anything.

That's like saying you feel bad for that one guy in NYC who gets mugged every 8 seconds.

You apparently don't understand the law of averages. Overall sales are down. That means some are doing great, some ok, and some not so well. The ones who aren't doing well might go out of business and are replaced by a new business the next year.

If business went by this guy's theory, no retailer would ever go out of business. And we know that's not true.

Because most of you are too fucking lazy to do some research, I went ahead and found you a pretty cool link to check out the numbers.

Here are the Black Friday numbers over the last 3-4 years.

Bottom line: consistent upward spending

We should care more about Black Lives than Black Friday.

How about all lives instead of black lives
Are you a white apologist or a black racist?
