Following the brain injury car accident, Pat Lundgren said that her husband’s medical condition deteriorated significantly.

“He has lots of problems now,” she said.

In the end, defense attorney Paul Engh requested a mistrial due to the fact that Potter’s guilt was not determined during his Thursday testimony.

According to Newsweek, John Lundgren’s condition deteriorated dramatically after the accident, with his speech slurring and his memory failing. His mobility was rapidly restricted.

“I began to notice that it was increasingly hard to understand him and he wasn’t, his sense of reasoning was, why he was doing the things he was doing wasn’t clear and his articulation seemed to be getting worse and worse and I could understand less and less of what he said,” according to a KSTP-TV reporter’s narrative reciting Lundgren Well’s comments.

After the hit and run crash, Lundgren Well’s father began “kind of obsessing about dying,” and he even asked a friend to sing at his funeral, said the grieving trial witness. “It’s been a challenging spring,” she said.

Her father’s health score has plummeted. She explained that his balance had deteriorated and he “became really belligerent” so the family had to strap him to his bed.

Her father’s brain was found to be shrinking in an MRI, and he required constant care in hospice, according to Lundgren Wells.

Attorney Martin claims that her father’s deterioration accelerated “considerably” since Wright’s car smashed into Lundgren’s.

“That’s not my dad,” said Lundgren Wells.
