Sadly, no. Teachers are supposed to teach young minds that there are no winners and losers. Everyone deserves a make-up test and everyone gets a trophy. The system is designed to teach to the lowest common denominator. This results in the current failure of the US and allows other countries to pass us by. The US spends the most on education, 4 times what #2 spends, and is ranked #28 in the world.
