the corvus concept used motorola 6800 for full mutitasking and scsi for mainframe class device connection (like first apple but released earlier)(not crap ide stuff), ran pascal interactively on desktop
and was network enabled using can-bus, the same bus used in automotive today
like xerox, was pricey. yet just because not many people bought it doesn't mean that USA didn't make it first (canada on the corvus if i remember) and get the patents on what they did do
