Ganges River India Restoration __New Initiative & Memory of Lord Cornwallis (1738-1835)

Yep, July 4, 2014 is right around the corner, next week in fact.

Is is not time to remember the Battle of Yorktown on October 19, 1781 when George Washington’s commanders including Lafayette finally trapped Lord Cornwallis in coastal Virginia ?

So, what does memory of Lord Cornwallis in America’s birth have to do with the Ganges River (Ganga ) Restoration__New Initiative ?

Clue: The New Prime Minister of India is coming to Washington DC soon and he wants economic development in India just like we want for our Fairfax Metro DC Hub community.

What's better for Economics in India than Ganga River Restoration for his country as it is for us as we still struggle to restore Potomac River & Chesapeake Bay here ?

"The river flows through 29 cities with population over 100,000; 23 cities with population between 50,000 and 100,000, and about 48 towns. A large proportion of the waste in the Ganges is from this population through domestic usage like bathing, laundry and public defecation"

India is a giant fucking shithole. It's basically hopeless. It's easier to burn the whole country down and start over from scratch.

Even for you, Avi, the connection between Lord Cornwallis in 1781 and the slow-moving sewer known as the Ganges River is a bit of a stretch...

in India the Parliament has power over the people and can write any law, any edict, they please (a facist government). top dogs in parliament can ravage the smaller dogs. many foreign countries are dictated by parliaments. hey is that obama in the picture ?

in the usa the people have power over the parliament

there is a line city of vehicles made in india by the same india owned vehicle maker that makes their military vehicles and 18 wheelers.

the vehicle is so low priced and so fuel efficient that most UN countries (france, usa, japan luxury cars) quickly made a law against the vehicles being imported into their respective countries - saying they were not prepared for that kind of competition

"it's called winning"

actually they didn't admit in the legal blockade against the cars the reason what competition

they said the "cars did not have all usa japan required safety features"

---------------------
neither do enduro motorcycles

and many of the "features" are forced on us we don't want in the cars, is more the truth

Let's set history strait between India and America back in the first days of July 4 celebration with George Washington's forces trapping Lord Cornwalis at the Battle of Yorktown with the help of the French.

When Lord Cornswalis was captured and sent home by George Washington to England, where was his next assignment ?

Yea, you guessed it , in India of course ! In Calcutta, the era of the Raj, the Pennsylvania Ave of Washington DC , was named Cornwallis Square, until the people of Calcutta decided to change the name.

SO the point I am trying to make is where is Cornwallis buried in India ?

Yep, you guessed it, along the upper Ganga River somewhere, fighting the Raj foes, in the North somewhere.

I am sure, this fact about Cornwallis will be valuable for the new Prime Minister of India arrives here, and when we invite him to visit Mt. Vernon, and look out the backside to Potomac river, as you and I have done many many times , living here at Fairfax , VA.

That's another good reason for us to share our knowledge and wisdom of more than 10 years of cleaning up the Potomac River. Yea, we got rid of the public sewage flowing into the Potomac River over the past 10 years or so, but that was not enoght. Now we are working on getting rid of the sediments and nutrients (includes the dog poophs , etc that still is an issue for us via the Accontic Creek and such, and more !)

See why we want the new Prime Minister of India to come to Mt. Vernon for a chat with the Potomac River Chesapeake Bay clean up people ?

Yea, start by talking about Lord Cornwallis who is still buried near the Upper Ganges today !

Makes sense ?

About Fish & India's Economic Vitality:

India is home to more than 10 percent of the global fish diversity. Presently, the country ranks second in the world in total fish production with an annual fish production of about 9.06 million metric tonnes. (FAO)

Fish is a "livelyhood" for a Lot of ordinary people among the Bengalis for example at Calcutta (fish loving people of India & Bangla Desh) where the Ganga River flows into the Bay of Bengal.

The Ganga Action Plan India__New Initiative

I have just made initial contact with the World Bank POC for India for possible PPP (Private Public Partnership) PPP to enable the new intiative. The World Bank has been a major player in the past on this topic and now presents a trementous opportunity for Healthier India by the Ganga New Initiative. Hope there will be some otheres in India , particularly at communities along the Ganga such as Kolkata, Patna, and other who will take a serious interest for tis PPP inititative involving NRI as well as citizens and local governments along the Ganga.
