Meade Skelton Record Release Party 1/8/11 !

Hey Y'all!

Come down to Richmond for Meade's release of "We Talk In Circles". Meade will be there to sign records and meet up with his many fans. Hits like "Hipsters Ruin Everything" and "River City" will fill the night, as well as special guests Herschel Stratego and The Slomski Brothers! And its on Elvis's birthday. The King himself might make a special appearance!

Yeah 5$ sure is a lot. I wouldn't pay a nickle to see the heavy metal bands scream and make noise and the jungle music that those hippity hoppers make. At least Meade's music has meaning.

What meaning could Meade's music possibly have? I hope he doesn't look forward to getting a huge share of the cover charge.

Listen to his lyrics. And he should be charging a lot more than 5$ There are bands that aren't half as good who ask for 125$ a seat. Like Jason Mraz and that kinda crap.

Meade, whether the cover charge is $5, $20, or $100, you will only see a fraction of that money on a good day.

Im not Meade. Im a Richmond promoter. But what you say is true no matter what you think of his music. The venue and band members as well as opening acts each get a cut of the door money, not just the star.
