President Donald Trump’s approval rating has gone up three percentage points since January to 46 percent, according to a NBC News/ Wall Street Journal poll released on Sunday.
His disapproval stands at 52 percent, down from 54 percent in January.
Other results from the survey include:
Sixty percent of rural residents support the job the president is doing, as do 60 percent of whites without college degrees.
Among men, 54 percent approve of Trump’s performance, as well as 54 percent of whites overall.
Eighty-eight percent of African Americans and 64 percent of Latinos disapprove of the president.
Sixty-one percent of women and 57 percent of those 34 years old and younger do not approve of Trump’s performance.
Fifty-five percent of whites with college degrees disapproved of the president, as well as 51 percent of independents.
