That's become almost as classic as the real version.

The gear they're using isn't bad at all. Marshall amp and half stack, GK bass cab, the bass player has a decent bass and the "lead guitarist" has an Epi SG.

The dude with the SG actually has a tuner on the headstock...Why?

But the funniest thing is how serious they look. You can tell they're really trying and concentrating. If they realized how awful they were, they would have been laughing.

Five Finger Death Punch did a shitass cover of Bad Company's song "Bad Company".

Totally mangled it. These modern "heavy" bands remind me of the shitty hair rock bands of the 80s. Overproduced, vocals yelling but with no emotional impact, and no riffing to speak of, just a bunch of blast beats. Boring as shit.

And FFDP is among the worst offenders, along with Volbeat and Avenged Sevenfold.

Worst cover songs ever?

It would take way less time to list the best cover songs ever.

Five Finger Death Punch also has a horrible cover of House of the Rising Sun that is somehow in my Pandora rotation, so I have to stop what I'm doing every time it comes on to pass it. SUCK

Atreyu has a heinous cover of Bon Jovi's You Give Love a Bad Name.

I lost any respect I had for them when I heard it.

Disturbed has a shitty cover of Genesis' Land of Confusion.

I think Disturbed does an 80s cover on every album. Their first album had a cover of Shour by Tears for Fears, which I kind of liked.

Disturbed got old quick, though.

For worst cover of a not very good song to begin with I'd nominate this:

Frankly I don't think anything can touch that Pink Floyd cover, but I'll offer this for your enjoyment:

Lawrence Welk Show, covering a "modern day spiritual" called "One Toke Over the Line". Apparently no one on the show had any clue what the song was really about. Complete with intro by Myron Floren.

Strong entry, but frankly any cover by Bill Shatner is gold, Jerry.

Save your self some time and skip to the 4:00 mark of this classic as introduced by the lyricist himself, Bernie Taupin.

If they (meaning Page, really...) had either just negotiated rights up front (which they couldn't because they were nobodies when they started and had no capital) OR...Gee, I dunno Jimmy, maybe after you guys became such an "epic" band you could've thrown us old niggers some fucking bones after stealing our music, passing it off as your own and making millions? Nope...we had to take you to court, Jimmy.

I'm so fucking tired of hearing about how "revolutionary" Led Zeppelin was. They were popular no questions. They made a thousand times more money than I'll ever dream about...then again, so did KISS.

Oy vey, someone who makes Adele look like Kate Upton.

And the voice, as she covers Rolling in the Deep is spot on.

BTW, Led Zeppelin was revolutionary.

Bullet the Blue Sky live cover by Queensyche. The song was good, but the Geoff Tate rant was horrible. It almost seem to be a time filler, because some other song was left off the album.

They were not revolutionary. They took old music that they thought people had forgotten about written by people who were forgotten about.

Name one original song NOT rooted in nigger blues by Led Zeppelin that was "epic"...What? "Hats Off to Roy Harper"? Oh...now THERE'S a gem.

There's no need for racism in this thread.

Tomahawk...now you typically one cool dude up in here, dig? But read my username...shit ain't racism, 'cause I'm a black man. And a black man can refer to it as nigger blues all the damn day long, m'ffakah! Or are you trying to take THAT away from us, too?

EVEN WORSE if you ever looked into it. gov workers were making butt loads of money making "songs available to children that are wholesome". imagine that. those democrats are so sweet using tax money to make a web site of songs gov approves of. well thank you - in hell thank you

IF YOUR NOT AWARE there are shitloads of fraudulent gov activities going on that later they justify as "critical spending"

wake up. the democrats bill out total bullshit like gov song website for kids then alters the books later so no one can reasearch what happened to the money
