When Trump isn't there all of a sudden all the other contenders are tough guys, cheap shots and low blows are not very "macho", no Cruz control there

Carson was the most poised ... and Rand was 2nd most - The others mostly were simply sqabbling about who said what when or who contridicted oneself or made very rehearsed statements about what they would do for the country "I will keep you safe", etc. (Christie)
Kasich to his credit didn't get involved with squabbling.

Jeb did a bit better this time. Cruz just about sunk his own ship when being interviewed by Megan afterwards. She let slide easily by agreeing that at least he was consistent "on paper" / his voting record.
