2014 Sochi Winter Olympics Thread

Ok, so tonight we have Snowboard Slopestyle and Team Figure Skating which are both new at these games and Freestyle Skiing. Bob Costas did an informative piece on the current controversies which was surprisingly not too preachy. Go USA!

What's the over/under on a terrorist attack? The KGB....errrr, I mean the Russian authorities are currently seeking 5 Islamic extremists that they know are in Sochi and classed as "Black Widow Bombers" whose husbands were killed by Westerners.

They caught reporters intentionally trashing their rooms to create news stories. They leave the showers running with the nozzles pointing toward the bedrooms. There's a secondary uproar over being filmed in their 'private' rooms by Russian authorities.

I don't know about that but it's been a bonanza for the ruskies - apparently they're attacking ever hackable device that comes to Sochi. One guy who was keeping an eye out for potential hack attempts said that within minutes of turning his devices on, there were folks picking through his files.
