I think it depends. If she's a nice girl, a church-going girl, a long frilly dress-wearing girl, or she's shy then I think it's okay.

On the other hand, if she's bad, real bad, big pierced titties and wears big leather boots on Saturday nights, then it might not be such a good idea because she probably gets attention on FB as it is and might look down on it or think you're a creep.

You know, I'm not a huge fan of Rockhound's content but he knocked it out of the park here. I'm old enough to have plowed my share of ass in the pre-Internet age. You simply have to assess your goal(s) with each prospect you meet. If all you want to do is hit and quit...friend her on FB. She's going to use it to mine as much information about you so, you be sure and do the same to her. Of course, you could also restrict her access on a file by file, phot by photo, entry by entry basis to your account. Yeah, you're friends on FB but you can still control specifically what she can and cannot see. Of course, that's a huge pain in the ass to go through your page and restrict her. And it's also a problem if you have lots of mutual friends on FB some of whom may be able to see shit that your "hit and quit" prospect can't. If they talk...that could be a problem. You don't want to field questions like, "Hey? Why can't I see ALL of your content?!?!" And then again, you could also clean house on your FB page and remove anything that could hurt your chances at getting laid. But, you may be left with an extremely boring page and STILL not knock the bottom out of her...Regardless, pick a strategy and stay with it.

Which brings us to...If your goal is to create a relationship, then you go Rockhound's route and do NOT friend her on FB. If she sends you a request and you reject it or ignore it, then you're going to have to explain that. It's perfectly acceptable to say, "Why don't we get to know each other a little better first?" but be advised this might be code to some chicks which they translate as, "I'm a serial killer. All of my snuff shots are on my social media pages so, I won't friend you until after I fuck you and kill you."
