Waze is all about contributing to the 'common good' out there on the road.
By connecting drivers to one another, we help people create local driving communities that work together to improve the quality of everyone's daily driving. That might mean helping them avoid the frustration of sitting in traffic, cluing them in to a police trap or shaving five minutes off of their regular commute by showing them new routes they never even knew about.
So, how does it work?
After typing in their destination address, users just drive with the app open on their phone to passively contribute traffic and other road data, but they can also take a more active role by sharing road reports on accidents, police traps, or any other hazards along the way, helping to give other users in the area a 'heads-up' about what's to come.
In addition to the local communities of drivers using the app, Waze is also home to an active community of online map editors who ensure that the data in their areas is as up-to-date as possible.

I love the app, but the only minor nitpick is at rush hour all the users' avatars appear on the app and I can't see the road or tell if the icon I see is an accident.

Yes, Gerry this is an israeli app. They are so intelligent. They make this magical software which requires highly technical intelligence. And yet you point out that it is a "jew" app. What do you mean by that? It is an app that could potentially help people avoid accidents with cars on the side of the roads, avoid user-reported debris, etc.
Yet you still don't like jews. I hate to break this to you but we are not seeing this kind of brilliance coming out of most African or Muslim nations. Why is that sir? Why?

Not that brilliant really, its a networking app as it relates to updates people themselves give on traffic conditions.

It's okay Gerry. I've seen your direct comments hating jews before. You don't have to say more than 4 words. You hate jews. That is your thing. My opinion is that you are a hyper sensitive half black (column 4) that hates jews because they have fair skin and are largely successful. That is just my opinion.

Waze is a brilliant app. It is a constant watcher of traffic of all users and can calculate user speed. It then uses this and other algorithims to route users to destinations faster to avoid traffic.

Lately I have been typing in bogus addresses and/or going out of my way while using waze. How long will it take before someone catches on and I get banned?
