I guess this person couldn't wait until the African-American museum was built and open? Granted, it will be a few years until it's finished. I think it's kind of sad putting so much into a facility or museum that will get trashed in short order.

We saw how well the MLK statue was respected ... a bunch of monkeys climbing up on it, which really seemed disrespectful. In fact, it sort of reminded me of the monkey cage at the National Zoo.
