There is no way he makes a living with that keyboard and voice of his.

He was a trust fund baby, but it's unsure if he has any of that money left. There was a video some time back where he was bemoaning that he was almost out of cash and still hadn't gotten enough of a career going in music to make a living.

I think he ploughed a substantial portion of the money he had left into the production of the Sweet Tea music video.(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N84bGZHiURw).

As of this writing, it's got 173 views, which means that Meade has paid about $17 per view, assuming the video cost about $3K to produce.

Of those 173 views, I wonder how many viewed the entire video?

Think it's highly likely a big percentage bailed halfway through?

Meade's resume is on linkedin. He currently waves a sign outside of a furniture store part time, and he is looking for additional part time opportunities.

Meade has never been a "trust fund baby." I think he moochies off his grandmother and at one point he was using a credit card of a relative. But the credit card got taken away I think a year or two ago.

Meade posted a big rant some time ago on how he would have to now get a real job because he wasn't making a dime in music. One of his relatives gave him a lecture about being a loser. In his rant he posted how his music career had ended a complete failure.

Here's the post that explains it all - http://www.fairfaxunderground.com/forum/read.php?40,869007,869600,quote=1

I'm an elderly woman, pretty much senile, with LOTS of money. I'd be delighted to subsidize young Meade, who sort of reminds me of Rock Hudson, but Rock Hudson with a sweet singing voice.

Gotta dash, my cat is eating my ankles.

Very few musicians ever make a real living from their music. Its not based on talent, it has more to do with technology which actually helped musicians, now turning against them. How many people today actually want to go out and see shows? Who buys CDs or records anymore? People listen and download music online. Nobody wants to pay money to see even a big name act. Its like the music industry is crumbling because it couldn't keep up with the times.

I heard that Meade has worked as a bellhop at one of the old fancy hotels in downtown Richmond.

There is nothing wrong with being a trust fund kid. Meade better be selective when choosing his posse.
