Irene has had difficulty maintaining appropriate boundaries when there has been a father figure in the home. If the family chosen is a mom-and-dad couple, the parents would need to be strong role models not only of healthy, positive adult-adult relationships, but also safe, appropriate parent-child relationships.

Lara has a history of night terrors and physical aggression, but she has been doing very well in her current foster home where she has been for over three years. She is currently rough with animals and exhibits some sexualized behaviors. Lara can be awkwardly inappropriate and due to her delays will need some kind of lifelong care.
Lara will need minimal changes in routine, consistency, structure, and very clear expectations, along with firm parenting. Lara is easily redirected and her bad behaviors should be ignored when appropriate. Lara's surroundings should be manipulated to avoid her known triggers.

Joseph is a sweet young boy who has brown hair and brown eyes. Joseph is described as quiet and funny. He likes to play video games, swim, ride bikes and watch Johnny Test and wrestling on TV. He is happiest when he does those activities and they cheer him up. He also enjoys riding horses. He is concerned with eating healthy too. His favorite subject in school is Computer's and when he grows up he would like to be a Police Officer. He has some trouble expressing himself and needs a family that will be patient with him. Joseph would benefit from a family that provides consistencey, structure, will be active and involved with him. Joseph needs a family that understands his needs and will advocate for him in school, and provide love and support.

Heather will function best in a two parent household with an older sibling or no other children at all. She will require considerable one on one attention in order to address bonding, trust, and anxiety issues. Heather wants a forever family to call her own. She will benefit form a family that is understanding, committed, clam, patient, structured, and consistent with boundaries and discipline.

She has specifically requested that she be allowed to maintain contact with her biological mother and younger brothers. With a sweet and innocent smile and a shy nature, Mariah can sometimes come across as guarded and quiet at first. Mariah does respond well to one-on-one attention and seems to open up with others after getting to know them for a bit. She is described as a sweet girl, easy going and very kind hearted by the adults in her life. She enjoys reading books and has a passion for writing but does struggle to keep up with her grades in school. Special Education services are helping Mariah achieve in this area. Mariah is a well-behaved and respectful young lady and hopes to find a family she can call her own someday soon.
