They relied on some flunky staffer to "summarize" it. Yes, "summarize" a fucking 2000 page+ monstrosity...
Now Diane Feinstein, Mary Landrieu and a few other of the Dumbocrats "best and brightest" are trying to play clean up and fix the bill.
What does this mean for Obobo?
Can Obobo save his vision? If people aren't forced into OboboCare, Obobocare cannot and will not be able to fund itself.
But if people are jacked for their policies, are cancelled or face huge increases- they are pissed at the Dumbocrats, and will surely vote against those who betrayed them...
It's becoming harder and harder for "honest" Democrats to pretend that Obobo did not lie to the American people...
"If you like your healthcare plan, you don't have to do anything... You can keep your healthcare plan... PERIOD."
It's pretty hard to have Obobo's back when he tells a fucking whopper like that one.

HHS published a notice in the Federal Register on June 17, 2010 estimating that 66 percent of small employer plans and 45 percent of large employer plans, accounting for 51 percent of all employer provided health insurance, would have to be terminated under Obamacare’s requirements by the end of 2013. Counting the required individual cancellations, that adds up to terminated health insurance under Obamacare for 93 million Americans, as Avik Roy recently calculated.

I'm not worried. A segment of the population, very small, is affected, a somewhat larger segment will now have choice for affordable reliable health care, the poor will recieve medicaid. There's no stopping that. Whether tomorrow, a year from now, 5 years from now, it will be considered as being beneficial for millions of Americans. The threat of more government regulation and already imposed profits restrictions will stabilize increases in premiums. So Democrats tried to get people off shitty policies, 5 million folks. That want shit for coverage, let em keep it.

Pretty good analysis here and a call for repeal-
Mr. Obama took to the podium in the White House briefing room to explain that yes, some Americans may indeed now keep the health-care plans they like. Maybe. If insurers can undo three years of work in a few weeks. If state regulators can move at similar lightning speed. So long as the old plans come with new warning labels. And with the understanding that those Americans lucky enough to receive a renewal option can only keep the plans they "like" for a further year. Those giant caveats aside, the president wishes you good fortune.
This small turnabout was nonetheless a humiliating concession for Mr. Obama, whose press secretary, Jay Carney, only a few days ago was ripping the idea of allowing insurers to continue selling "substandard" plans. His hand was forced by a growing mob of congressional Democrats who are getting slammed over cancellations, and who threatened revolt if the administration didn't act.
The primary purpose of the White House "fix" was to get out ahead of the planned Friday vote on Michigan Republican Fred Upton's "Keep Your Health Plan Act." The stage was set for dozens of Democrats to join with the GOP for passage—potentially creating a veto-proof majority, and putting enormous pressure on Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to follow suit.

This is another good read about the pathetic "administrative fixes" that will try to salvage this disaster by Obobo's executive decision.
Even with it's non-constitutional design and selective enforcement by edict, this law is doomed to fail Americans.
And that doesn’t even touch on the legal problems. The administration is not changing the rules, just declining to enforce them against the insurers. This is becoming a pattern: Obama’s position on the law seems to be that it’s his law, and therefore the law is whatever he and his appointees say it is. That’s dangerous for all sorts of reasons, not least because it makes them vulnerable to court action.
Presumably they will also not enforce the mandate against people who have grandfathered plans. But that raises an interesting legal issue. Remember that in 2012, the Supreme Court ruled that the mandate was a tax. And as a lawyer of my acquaintance points out, taxes have to be enforced uniformly; the Internal Revenue Service can pick and choose who it audits, but it cannot pick and choose who has to obey the law. If it declines to enforce the mandate against grandfathered consumers, it's conceivably opening itself up to a bunch of legal challenges.
This is not, in other words, a good solution if your desire is to make Obamacare work as planned. It is not even a very good solution if you are genuinely moved by the plight of people losing insurance policies they liked. At best, it solves only one real problem: the administration’s plummeting poll ratings. And that's only for the short term; it’s hard to see how we avoid going through this drama again next year.
As Yuval Levin, who served in the George W. Bush White House and is a leading voice among conservatives on health care, wrote in an e-mail: “This is on the one hand a stunning capitulation, which will badly harm the implementation of Obamacare, but it is on the other hand a politically savvy move as it allows the administration to now blame all cancellations on the insurers (and state insurance commissioners) and it takes the steam out of the Republican effort of the week.
