Gordon, while a complete asshat, was much more intelligent than Gerry. Gerry is ferfux. Sad, pathetic, lonely, homo ferfux. I hated Gordon, but he didn't lie and his comments were sharp. Gerry is dull, boring, repetitive, hollow, clueless, delusional and, obviously, a self-hating homo. No comparison between the two.

Don't forget the Great Society programs that keep the poor quarantined in the hood.

You will never see much interstate movement of poor or desperate people like the Grapes of Wrath as long as the government is just willing to throw money at them.

SF has a horrible homeless problem.

I saw some pretty crappy looking areas south of the city, but I dunno if they were SF proper.

San Francisco has a skidrow section. It's just outside Chinatown, right above the main street (Market St?).

Van Ness, Veazey Eddy streets come to mind. I spent about aweek out there once.

Tenderloin is the name I think they use , but it's more skid row/dope/hookers than projects or ghetto.
