Examiner is right on this one.

Politifact does the same thing that Media Matters and Think Progress do a lot. Evaluate something that sounds close to what the real issue if you're not paying attention but is off just enough that it works for whatever argument they want to make. The right does the same, there just aren't as many of such groups which try to falsely present themselves as being non-partisan.
