The Hispanic immigrant neighbors with several families in their little apartment have been dropping 1-2 kids a year for the last 5 years. At this rate, (multiplied by the millions of illegals being let in and given free citizenship now), none of us will ever have to worry about not enough workers "putting in" to the Social Security system, (thus making sure that all the nation's old folks not knocked off by the death panels will keep getting their earned Social Security and retirement checks for some time to come)!

You realize that, with everyone who will be left staying in this country being forced by Uncle Sugar to keep less and less of the dwindling and devalued money they do make, and with their incomes continuing to decrease as the population being forced to take part time jobs continues to rise--and as the remaining few middle class jobs continue to disappear-- jobs becoming available here will be continually more and more over weighted into the service sector and its resulting lower and lower wages with the lower and lower value of the dollar.

It will very soon take several hundred workers in service type jobs at Walmart and McDonalds to support just 1 "retiree." Those wanting to "retire" will probably need to rethink their own retirement strategies if they ever in the past thought it would entail "lying around watching their soaps on the boob-tube" all day. Basically, in the future, they will need to work until they drop dead, or until the death panels decide they have lived too long to be valuable enough to warrant keeping alive--I guess the rest left here will just have to be happy to get their employment in the local Soylent green factories!

I personally would rather not be "working until I drop dead" while having all my hard-earned income going to Uncle Sugar's ACA so that my hubby can be forced to get invitro fertilization or so that I can be forced to have to take birth control pills when I am 75 years old and no longer even have a uterus!!!!!! Or even worse, to be forced to have to pay more than I am even making each month for "health care" mandated by the POS who mistakenly thinks he is in charge of my freedom of choice, for tons of health issues I do not even have. It is bad enough having to pay an exorbitant amount of cash for the POS's crap insurance that won't even let me use my own personally chosen doctors, and then also have to pay full price of all my medical bills out of my own pocket because I trust my own chosen healthcare providers and not cheap half-assed third world hacks that don't even speak English but will work for peanuts in an ACA HMO because there is not another developed country that will accept their emerging third-world medical credentials?

We are doing our research ahead of time to find a suitable low-tax country to immigrate to--a place to go to where we can start a new life without the yoke of Omamacare and Obamataxes (after retirement here); the only requirements will be that the country allows one to continue to work there, that it will also have to allow normal middle class older people to immigrate (in addition to the rich ones that can pay their own entrance fees), that it has a free economy, and that the population as a whole still follows and believes in the work ethic (as opposed to the welfare state), and that it is not a socialist or Communist country, and that retirees are still welcome despite the fact they came from America, a country that most of the world now considers to be an enemy, a laughingstock, or both--and that it has a stable government and economy. (Those of you who have lived long enough will recognize that these above characteristics used to be descriptive of a country called the United States).

Once the "illegal immigrants" (the ones who came here to make something of themselves, and have actually succeeded), become successful, they too will wake up (and for many who have made it to the middle class, it will be soon for them in the future as they begin to recognize that the characteristics of the new America have begun to mirror the characteristics of the countries they originally fled from ), and they will be turning in their newly minted green cards and passports by the millions and will also be looking for a new country that needs and values its middle class and grants freedom of choice along with self responsibility in living to all..

If the productive "middle class" begins to follow the "moneyed class" and begins to leave in ever larger numbers, the welfare "taker class" will be the only ones left. With all the productive classes and businesses who hire them gone, things will begin to get interesting, as the takers, now hungry as the money dries up, begin to turn against their "masters". As all that free money dries up, we will have to leave all that to those with the bunker mentality (ever wonder why the Homeland Security is buying up all that ammo)?. Apparently they are more prescient than the socialists in power!

But, there are still yet many out there who are making their own personal choice that this is no way to spend one's retirement years.

Per the Federal Register, the numbers of people from the US who are turning in their passports and accepting citizenship in other countries has begun to rise exponentially in the last several years.

They have learned that "Those who have not learned from the past are doomed to repeat it." Well, those who have learned from the past have no need to repeat it, and have chosen to vote with their feet.

Even though I am nowhere near retirement age, the writing is on the wall as stated in the above post.

If you have skillz -- engineering, science, business -- start looking for an alternative country. If you are a community organizer or political `scientist' -- good luck to you here.

It is obama who is doing the stealing. Adding more taxes to support his government run health care disaster. He also signed off amending the law that people on welfare look for work. Now there is no such requirement. Welfare is a life long benefit. How many receiving all this free stuff will have a desire to end their monthly stipend.
