The Capital of Iceland has more bars/nightclubs per capita than anyplace else in the world. Iceland has the highest rate of children being born out of wedlock in the industrialized world. These two facts I am told are unrelated; yet I have my suspicions

The Icelanders have a saying. I can not pronounce it, but when all hell is breaking lose they say it. A good translation is "The hell with it, let us all go to the movies."

I expect they will deal with their financial crisis in one or more of these ways.
1) Go to a nightclub/bar
2) Get drunk
3) Get or get someone pregnant
4) Go to the movies.

Remember a few years back when Icelandair was promoting the heck out of weekend trips to Iceland? I think Don and Mike went as part of the promotion. I take it not many people took the airline up on the offer because they don't promote it so much anymore.

We have been through this before. Many young very nice looking ladies go to bars near Dupont Circle. just because there are one or two "fags" in the area should not preclude the young single male of taking advantage of some many hotties in such a small area.
