U.S economy added just under 150K jobs, less than the average gain of 185K per month.
"The unemployment rate unexpectedly fell to 7.2 percent, the lowest since November 2008, as the
labor-force participation rate held near 35-year lows, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics."
Labor force participation has not been this low since the days of 1978 and the term of another inept liberal, Jimmy Carter.
Not part of this equation is the government shutdown, as this occurred in October and will probably not be reflected in that report as it was temporary, so don't even go there.
What happened to Dingle Barry's "laser like focus" on jobs? He told America that "jobs" are what he thinks about first thing in the morning and last thing before he goes to bed at night.
