Agreed. A hillbilly in law of mine is a 10th grade dropout who showers once a week. Wouldn't care except for the fact that he's dirt poor and lives with us. We are his last stop on the way to being homeless, since his hillbilly family has hillbilly drama with him. He probably insulted someone's cooking one time in 1983 and now nobody talks to each other.

Have kindly reminded him that he needs to bath a little more often for everyone else's benefit, but he grew up where you would go into town once a week ago get a bath. Can't undo that sort of upbringing.

The only thing worse than going into the woods smelling like soap is going into the woods smelling like a human. Body odor or general unclean human scent are going to alert deer just as fast as soap/cologne.
