you ever accidentally go out on a gay date with another man?

One time I was working in this kitchen washing dishes and there was this other dude and we hit it off, as buddies. So this dude asks if I wanna hang out sometime and I'm like sure, and before I know it we're at a kinda nice restaurant after a movie on a Friday night and I realize this is a man-date. I made sure to mention how straight I am, like how hot girls are and stuff, and then he was all quiet and kind of embarrassed looking the rest of the time. This ever happen to anyone else?

Why would a "straight" dude go out to dinner with another guy? Maybe to a bar to pick up chics, but never to dinner one on one. You must be really naive.

The above is acceptable or even meeting a friend or old co worker for lunch or happy hour. But not a evening movie and certainly not a dinner after.

I disagree. What's wrong with two buds going out for a quick bite to eat at a diner or something, or maybe even a Chili's, and then to see a movie? Is that gay? Because if it is then I'm gay.
