Credit card air miles recommendation

Sorting through the different credit card offers for free air miles but enough small print to fill the Library of Congress. Any recommendations on which credit card offers the best return on air miles based on your charges?

A few things to consider:

1) Get whatever card goes with the airline you fly the most. You fly United, get the United Chase card. Fly Delta, get the Amex Sky Miles card. Fly US, get the Barclay's card.

2) Can you pay the balance in FULL every month? If no, do not get an airline affinity card as the interest rates on those cards range from about 14% to as high as 19% APR.

3) Do you have status on an airline? If no, consider getting one of the more premium airline cards - one which gives you priority boarding and one that gives you a free bag when you use that card to buy an airline ticket.

United but it can vary. I travel mostly to Florida or occaxionaly to Vegas
