I wonder if invasion of privacy by itself is sufficiently actionable. From what I've read, it's usually included as part of a defamation suit, but it seems that the Supreme Court has held it to be a cause of action by itself:
The unwarranted appropriation or exploitation of one’s personality, the publicizing of one’s private affairs with which the public has no legitimate concern, or the wrongful intrusion into one’s private activities, in such manner as to outrage or cause mental suffering, shame, or humiliation to a person of ordinary sensibilities.

A shame no one here has the coin to hire a lawyer to actually test this. It'd be a hoot and a half if a slew of lawsuits and countersuits went a-flying between the various and sundry aggrieved parties on Fairfax Underground.
