“A great democracy does not make it harder to vote than to buy an assault weapon" - Bill Clinton.

Excellent quote. The ballot is more powerful than the bullet.

A great democracy also wouldnt elect an idiot who thinks its harder to vote than get an Assault rifle or is knowingly lying to drum up emotional responses in people who dont have a clue what theyre talking about.

Heres a quiz which one of those two things requires:

2 Forms of government issued IDs proving you are who you say you are
Background check
Some places a waiting period

Now which one requires you just show up.

So again Ill ask why are Dems so in favor of creating conditions for voter fraud hmmmm.....

It's a factually-incorrect smear. And sick coming from a man representing a political party opposed to checking one's identification in order to vote.

Plus, the real definition of an "assault weapon" is one with selective fire. In order to purchase one, I would need to seek federal permission, pay for an NFA tax stamp, and wait for months for the federal government to review my application and investigate my background.

Meanwhile, Clinton's political party does everything it can to ensure that non-US citizens vote in our elections.

A great democracy would above all seek a voting system that verifies that a voter is who they say they are.

Virtually all.

The only sales which do not would be in-state, person-to-person sales to another legally eligible in-state buyer in states where not otherwise prohibited. Which at a practical level is a trivial number.
