I'm sorry but you're correct. I don't know how anyone can think anyone with a gun is brave. If you need a gun you are clearly afraid of something and need some deadly weapon to protect yourself. When in reality, most gun owners never even have to use their guns since most of them have nothing to take and no one even "fucks with them" in the first place, they go looking for trouble (like Zimmerman) - they're all trigger happy fools who end up either killing themselves or their entire families when their deranged minds finally snap or someone else gets a hold of the gun (like a child) and "accidentally" shoots themselves, or a child gets the gun and shoots someone because they are bored.

In conclusion, guns are for wimps, cowards and women. Any man who owns a gun has severe insecurity and is frightened and paranoid of his own shadow.

the hate and disrespect to life and each other in some of the above comments are truly appalling and heartbreaking, where is the humanity? While its my choice for continuing to read, I can't help but believe many persons stating opinions above would not say those things face to face. The woman who saved those lives did an amazing thing for ALL lives involved, regardless of race or gender, can it not be left at that?
